Adaptation to climate change - MWE moves to develop a national adaptation plan for wash

The ministry of water and environment with support from UNICEF and other development partners is developing a national adaptation plan for Water, sanitation and Hygiene with a sole aim of strengthening the sector’s resilience to impacts of climate change. The National Adaptation Plan will serve as the national WASH policy instrument for coordinating and driving actions of all actors and stakeholders in the sector.
