Addicted to your smartphone? New data reveals ideal balance for mental health
Cell phones and the internet are widely used but there can be a question among many about how much use is too much. New data from Statistics Canada found people's mental health was worse among those who spent more than 20 hours online compared to those who spent fewer than 10 hours. Meanwhile, the amount of time spent scrolling on a smartphone also had a negative impact on Canadians' relationship satisfaction. As Sean Previl reports, it's about finding the right balance.
