Addressing food security and resilience in the IGAD region

The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) member states are urging for increased funding and investment in agriculture to enhance productivity and address food insecurity in the region. This call was made during the opening of a three-day Regional Consultation on the Comprehensive African Agriculture Development Program (CAADP), which aims to review the 4th Biennial Review performance of IGAD member states.
