Aerial footage captures destruction in Japan following New Year's Day earthquake

Thousands of buildings, boats, and other vehicles were damaged due to a magnitude 7.6 earthquake that hit Japan on New Year's Day, according to Japanese officials. Authorities have advised residents of the affected areas to stay alert for future quakes. At least 55 people have died, and 22 were left with serious injuries following the event.
