AFL star Aaron Shattock in critical condition after Gold Coast incident

Brisbane Lions Premiership player Aaron Shattock is reportedly fighting for his life after an incident at a Gold Coast home. The 44-year-old was reportedly crushed by an excavator he was driving when it rolled on top of him. It is understood he suffered life-threatening chest injuries. Shattock debuted for the Lions in 2000 and featured in their 2002 Grand Final win. He remains in Gold Coast University Hospital in critical condition.
