After unseasonably warm holiday, winter weather arrives in Canada ❄

After weeks of above average temperatures and minimal snowfall, winter has finally arrived, blanketing communities across Canada in snow. Ottawa experienced its first snowfall of the year this past week, while in British Columbia and Edmonton people are hitting the slopes after an abnormally warm December led to a slow start to the ski season. On the other side of the country, Nova Scotia is getting its first blast of winter. Joe Scarpelli looks at how Canadians from coast to coast are embracing the snow.
