Agriculture Ministry plans research overhaul for modern farming

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animals Industry, and Fisheries are considering revamping all its research facilities across the country to ensure that farmers apply modern farming innovations to raise their output and income. According to Frank Tumwebaze, the agriculture minister, they have received funding partners to implement the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation in different regions of the country.
