Agriculture sector budget - Low budget allocation hinders the development of the agriculture sector.

The Executive Director of the Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group Julius Mukunda says the low budget allocation to the agriculture sector has hindered the implementation of the Maputo and Malabo Protocols, which call for African countries to allocate 10% of their national budgets to agriculture. This revelation was made during an interview with UBC TV, where Mukunda discussed Uganda's budget allocation for the sector.
