AI could help SGH doctors in prescribing antibiotics for some patients

Pneumonia patients at Singapore General Hospital may soon be prescribed antibiotics with the help of artificial intelligence. An AI model will help doctors deduce whether the patient is suffering from a viral or bacterial form of the illness, which will inform their decisions.
