AI immortality: The tech letting people create avatars for their loved ones to meet after they die
A tech company is allowing users to clone ”forever” versions of themselves so that when they die their loved ones can go and meet them in the metaverse and even hug them with the use of sensor pads. The virtual reality tool called "live forever mode" features digital avatars who can simulate a person's voice, mannerisms and movements after just 30 minutes of the user being observed.
