Ailing for doing nothing - Kumi Lions Club extends awareness against non communicable diseases

The awareness campaign against non-communicable diseases has been taken to Kumi District in Eastern Uganda with focus on diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure among others. The Director Kumi Orthopedic Center Dr John Ekure says time has come for Ugandans to avoid and prevent what he describes as diseases caused by doing nothing. This was at Nyero Health Center III where the President Lions Club of Kumi Central Dr Susan Ekure called for lifestyle change through body fitness routines.
