Air defenses intercept rocket fire from Lebanon into northern Israel

Israeli air defenses intercepted a barrage of rockets fired by Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon at northern Israel late in the day on Monday (September 23). The interceptions were captured in the night sky at two different angles by two Reuters cameras. The rocket fire set off sirens across the area, sending Israelis running for shelter. The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has escalated in recent days, with heavy rocket fire deep into northern Israel and powerful Israeli air strikes throughout Lebanon.
