Air raid sirens were triggered across the Israeli city of Tel Aviv as the country faces conflicts on its northern and southern borders. In the last few days, Hezbollah has fired hundreds of missiles at targets in Israel, including its commercial hub Tel Aviv, although Israel's aerial defense system has ensured the damage has been limited. Israel rejected global calls for a ceasefire with the Hezbollah movement, defying its biggest ally in Washington and pressing ahead with strikes that have killed hundreds in Lebanon and heightened fears of an all-out regional war.
