Airfares skyrocket ahead of AFL Grand Final weekend

Interstate footy fanatics will experience increased airfares from major airlines ahead of this Saturday’s AFL Grand Final at the MCG. Sky News reporter Georgie Dickerson broke down the expected increased costs from airline giants Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin. “From Sydney to Melbourne on Friday prices are already more than $500 for Qantas,” Ms Dickerson reported. “For Lions fans, the prices are even steeper.”
