Albanese ‘digging deeper’ amid Qantas free upgrades scandal

Sky News host Paul Murray says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is in a “world of trouble” following the recent Qantas free upgrades debacle. “This bloke is in a world of trouble, now we are going to see whether he is going to try to find a way out of it, but I think his attempts thus far are only digging him deeper,” Mr Murray said. “The story is pretty clear here, is he was too close to the former CEO of Qantas, Alan Joyce, he was buying personal tickets to go on personal flights when at times he was the transport minister of the country, yet he was being upgraded, to business and potentially even first class in some situations.”
