Albanese government announces $30 million in additional funding for ACCC

Labor has allocated an additional $30 million of funding to the ACCC to help their investigation into the supermarket sector. This comes after the ACCC launched a Federal Court action against supermarket giants Coles and Woolworths. Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd said the money will be used to “really help them investigate further the pricing practices”. The money will be used over three and a half years.
