Albania to ban social media platform TikTok for one year

Albania has joined a growing list of nations blocking social media platform TikTok. The country's prime minister announced the move in response to the fatal stabbing of a teenager. The government says it intends to block the platform for 12 months amid growing fears of increased violence promoted by social media. Albania's Prime Minister says the block will begin next year but has not yet specified a date.
