Albert John remembered
Member of Parliament for The City Corey Lane says he is trusting the investigation process after public outcry over the death of Albert John. He was speaking at a vigil on Sunday organised by John’s family and friends in King’s Street in The City. John, who lived at Kensington New, Road died on November 3 but after a post-mortem, the Barbados Police Service announced his death was from natural causes. At a press conference held last week, Commissioner Richard Boyce said the investigation is continuing into the matter as the case is still open. Mr Lane told reporters he is hoping for peace not only for the family but for his community. Some of John’s colleagues who were at the vigil spoke to the kind and funny person they knew him to be.
