Alejandro Mayorkas slammed for not criticising Joe Biden’s border policy

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was slammed online following a speech on Wednesday. Mayorkas spoke at a Border Patrol hangar in Tucson, Arizona and shrugged off criticisms directed at US President Joe Biden’s border policies. A video of the speech was posted to social media by X account RNC Research, with users criticising the 64-year-old. “You do not let illegals in first, then deal with the consequences later. That is not protecting Americans,” wrote one user. During his speech, the secretary stated Biden’s border policy is not to blame for the numerous deaths of Americans by illegal immigrants. “The individual who is responsible for a heinous criminal act is the criminal,” he said.
