Alleged serial rapist Sipho Lucas Phiri claims he had consensual sex with the state's first witness and that they agreed on a payment of R500. The 39-year-old, who's married with children, faces 114 counts ranging from rape, holding his victims hostage and defeating the ends of justice. The former Prasa security guard, is accused of raping at least 37 women and girls between 2018 and 2023.
