Alleged serial rapist opposed to televised trial

Alleged serial rapist Sipho Lucas Phiri is once again attempting to dodge the cameras. His lawyer will be appealing a High Court judgment, granting eNCA permission to broadcast his trial. Phiri claims televising the trial will endanger the safety of his family. He's accused of inflicting a reign of terror between 2018 and 2023, raping at least 37 women, some of whom are teenagers. eNCA Senior Reporter Silindelo Masikane has more. Courtesy #DStv403
