AMBASSADOR DEAN JONAS THANKS PM FOR APPOINTMENT, BULLISH ON NEW ROLE

Newly-appointed ambassador-at-large, Dean Jonas has praised Prime Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne, as he welcomes his new role. He received his instrument of appointment from Governor General Sir Rodney Williams at Government House on Thursday. Amb. Jonas says his main area of focus will be to drive the economic benefits from the blue economy, or the country's ocean resources in its exclusive economic zone. He was speaking with the ABS Evening News Friday.
