Since 2001, she has traveled to China to journey along this ancient road and has spent the last five years writing the "Guide to Hiking China's Old Road to Shu". Jianmen Shu Road is an ancient road with a strategic significance in Chinese history. It connects the central plain, Guanzhong, with the almost inaccessible Sichuan Basin.
