Americans were ‘better off’ under Trump administration

Former US president Donald Trump says the American people were “better off” under his administration. The former US president held a rally in South Carolina ahead of Saturday’s primary. “Our country was far, far, far better off – that’s for sure,” Mr Trump said. “America was stronger and tougher and richer and safer and more confident. “We’ve lost our confidence as a country.”
