Analysis: Wet weather conditions to stretch along east coast of Australia

Australia’s east coast will experience wet weather conditions and gusty winds across the remainder of the week. “Unfortunately, not much sunshine in the mix for today or really the rest of the week,” said Sky News Weather Meteorologist Marina Neuman. Heavier rainfall has started moving north of Newcastle, with the city experiencing a few “spotty showers” for Wednesday morning. Ms Neuman warned the chance of severe thunderstorms could come into effect as strong and gusty winds reach a maximum of 48 kilometres in Sydney and 61 kilometres in Tamworth.
