Immigration Minister Andrew Giles has revealed the new ministerial direction to replace the Albanese government's under-fire Direction 99, which multiple convicted criminals have used to escape deportation. Mr Giles confirmed on Friday he had signed Direction 110, which will replace Direction 99 on June 21. “Same minister, same issues, different direction number – and it keeps getting worse and worse,” Ms De Giorgio said. “I don't know who is more dangerous – the criminal detainees or Andrew Giles still in charge of the portfolio.”
