‘Angry shareholders’ expected at The Star's upcoming AGM

Despite Star Entertainment raising a lot of money from investors over the years – the company has been in “serious trouble”, says Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd. Casino operator The Star will hold its Annual General Meeting on Thursday as its share price has fallen to record lows. “The share price was about $4.40 in 2021; it’s now just 20 cents,” Mr Boyd said. “That’s going to be a big one to look out for on Thursday, expect a lot of angry shareholders there.”
