Animal handler injured in rare tiger attack at Australia theme park

An animal handler at an Australian theme park was attacked by a tiger and was taken to hospital with serious lacerations and puncture wounds, authorities said. Emergency services were called to the Dreamworld theme park near Gold Coast in Queensland state after an incident involving a tiger, Queensland Ambulance Service said. The handler, a woman in her 40s, is in a stable condition at the hospital, said the ambulance service.
