‘Another chase for a cheap headline’: Labor MP defends Albanese’s Qantas relationship

Labor MP Julian Hill has defended Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s relationship with Qantas, labelling criticism as “another chase for a cheap headline”. The Coalition has called for Anthony Albanese to refer himself to the National Anti-Corruption Commission for an investigation into his relationship with Qantas. Crossbenchers are demanding greater transparency and accountability. “It’s another chase for a cheap headline – the proposition you put to [Liberal MP] Keith [Wolahan] earlier,” Mr Hill told Sky News Australia. “This stuff’s been on the public record for 20/25 years.”
