Anthony Albanese not backing up words with actions to stop antisemitism: Frydenberg
Former treasurer Josh Frydenberg has called for the Albanese government to take stronger actions to stop the rise of antisemitism in Australia. Josh Frydenberg spoke with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in part of a new Sky News Australia documentary 'Never Again: The Fight Against Antisemitism'. The documentary takes a look at how antisemitism has been allowed to take hold in Australia, and what needs to be done to stop it. Mr Frydenberg claimed that Anthony Albanese doesn’t seem to be backing up his words with actions to stop the rise of antisemitism in Australia. “While I hoped he comprehended the gravity of the situation, I'd like to see a lot stronger action from here,” Mr Frydenberg said. “We can’t just replay what we’ve seen over the last eight months, for the next eight months, we need a reset from the government. “We need to see strong decisive leadership.”
