Anthony Albanese questioned over $4.3 million property purchase amid cost of living crisis
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been questioned about his purchase of a home on the New South Wales Central Coast with his fiancee Jodie Hayden during a media conference in Queensland. It comes as the Prime Minister joined Steven Miles on the campaign trail ahead of the state election in a bid to help the Queensland premier regain ground in the race. "I am much better off as a prime minister, I earn a good income, I understand that," Mr Albanese said "I understand I've been fortunate but I also know what it's like to struggle my mum lived in the one public housing that she was born in for all of her 65 years and I know what it's like which is why I want to help all Australians into a home whether it be public homes or private rentals or home ownership."
