‘Appalling’: Albanese makes ‘tone-deaf’ live export joke

National Senate Leader Bridget McKenzie slams Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for a "tone-deaf" joke he made about the live export trade while speaking in front of a room full of farmers at the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Gala. “For the PM to give such a tone-deaf response about the live cattle trade, I thought was appalling,” Ms McKenzie said. “This government has cut the live sheep trade in WA, which is an appalling decision and is having repercussions right throughout Western Australia, not just primary producers.
