A team of researchers is hoping to turn unconfirmed sightings of great white sharks in Irish waters into reality. US non-profit research organisation Ocearch is cautiously optimistic that great whites do indeed haunt the waters around Ireland and Britain. They're aiming to create history by finding one off the southwest coast of Ireland.
