Aromatic rice production soars in Butaleja district with new farming technologies

The production of aromatic rice in Butaleja district has witnessed a significant increase, rising from 2.5 tonnes per acre to an impressive 4 tonnes per acre.  This surge follows the adoption of innovative farming practices introduced by the Korean Program on International Agriculture (KOPIA), which has transformed rice farming in the region.
