ASIC sues NAB for credit code breaches

Corporate regulator ASIC took the National Australia Bank to the Federal Court for failing to respond to customers who filed hardship applications within 21 days on Monday. ASIC claims some applicants were victims of domestic violence and others had medical conditions. NAB self-reported, but ASIC's action reflects a similar case brought against Westpac last year.
