Assessing coffee growing in Rwenzori - UCDA constructing coffee quality lab in Kasese

The Parliamentary committee on Agriculture together with top management of Uganda Coffee Development Authority has concluded a 3-day field monitoring exercise in Rwenzori Sub region to assess progress made in the coffee subsector. The Committee Chairperson, Janet Okori Moe, says coffee growing interventions by UCDA in the area are promising, albeit some challenges like inadequate coffee seedlings that farmers still grapple with.
