Asst Prof Dylan Loh on William Lai's inauguration speech, cross-Strait relations

Mr William Lai has been sworn in as Taiwan's president. In his inauguration speech, he vowed to defend the island's democracy and called on China to cease political and military intimidation. China, which claims sovereignty over Taiwan, has described Mr Lai as a "dangerous separatist".
