At least 12 killed across Gaza in past 12 hours

At least eight people have been killed in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah, with the bodies transferred to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, according to our correspondent Hani Mahmoud in Deir el-Balah. The dead include a woman and two of her sons inside Rafah and a man and his son in the Tal as-Sultan neighbourhood on the western outskirts of the city. At least four more people were killed in the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza, Mahmoud reported. In the south, he said, at least two people were critically injured in southeastern Khan Younis in an attack by an Israeli quadcopter. Mahmoud said there were reports of constant heavy artillery shelling in the Remal neighborhood in the middle of Gaza City, with systematic home demolitions in the west of the city.
