At least 15 people killed in truck attack in New Orleans on New Year's Day

At least 15 people were killed and 30 injured in New Orleans on New Year's Day (Jan 1) after a man ploughed his truck into a crowd in the city’s French Quarter. The suspect, who was later killed in a shootout with the police, has been identified as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar - a US citizen and army veteran.
