At least one dead after flooding in central Japan

At least one person has been killed and two seriously injured after flooding in central Japan. The torrential downpour has prompted evacuation orders for tens of thousands. More than 6,000 households have experienced blackouts. Military personnel have been sent to affected areas to assist rescue workers.
