Australia marks 10-year anniversary of Flight MH17 being shot down

Australia will today mark 10 years since the downing of MH17 over Ukraine. The Malaysian Airlines flight was travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was shot down 50 kilometres from the Ukraine-Russia border. More than 100 family members of the victims will gather in Canberra today and lay a wreath in their honour. The AFP, foreign minister Penny Wong and her predecessor Julie Bishop will also be among those present.
