Australia marks 60 years since Beatlemania ‘swept’ the country

Sky News host Danica De Giorgio says it has been 60 years since Beatlemania swept Australia. “The Beatles’ tour started in Adelaide in June 1964 where 300,000 people lined the streets,” Ms De Giorgio said. “It ended up being the largest ever crowd to welcome the group.” Authors Andy Neill and Greg Armstrong sat down with Ms De Giorgio to discuss the 60th anniversary of Beatlemania in Australia.
