Sky News host Andrew Bolt claims Australia must heed the lesson from South Korea of the importance of social media. Protesters mobilised on the streets of Seoul after South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared and then later rescinded martial law. “I hope that every Australian politician who’s been trying to censor social media here, watched today how it’s just saved South Korea’s democracy,” Mr Bolt said. “News of the coup of course flashed through social media, so did calls to resist.”
