Australia predicted to have one of the highest inflation rates among advanced economies

The International Monetary Fund has released a revised forecast predicting Australia’s inflation rate will rise to 3.6 per cent in 2025, making it one of the highest among advanced economies. Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley said she is “really worried” about the forecast and the “mortgage pain” continuing. “Unfortunately, that demonstrates that the government has no plan to tackle inflation, it’s staying higher for longer,” Ms Ley told Sky News Australia.
