Australian Defence Force seeing an ‘emphasis on naval power’

Australian Strategic Policy Institute Dr Malcolm Davis says the National Defence Strategy prioritises defending “sea lanes of communication”. Mr Davis said we “have to protect” the important sea lanes of communication. “What you are seeing is an emphasis on naval power. “That quite correctly is designed to defend sea lanes of communication."
