The Australian dollar has fallen to its lowest level in about five years raising the price of imported goods and adding to the cost-of-living challenges for Australians. Over the past six months, the dollar has fallen around 10 per cent. Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd said the fall of the dollar has become a "red flag" for the Reserve Bank of Australia, which wanted the dollar to fall but not as much as it has, casting doubt on an interest rate cut.
