Australian exports facing further US tariffs

Australia is facing the prospect of further tariffs on exports sold to the United States. The Financial Review reports levies of between 2 and 8 per cent could be issued on $30 billion worth of goods unless the Albanese Government can secure an exemption. Beef and pharmaceuticals are among the exports at risk. US President Donald Trump is expected to unveil plans for individual tariffs on America's foreign trade partners by April 2.
