Australian living in Lebanon Zakie Khoury Daou joined Sky News Australia to discuss why she decided not to leave the country despite warnings from the federal government. “I know it’s a little difficult for people to understand,” she said. “Essentially the activity that’s going on here is quite targeted, it’s targeting military depots of the Hezbollah people or specific people, and that activity is not all over Lebanon, it’s in specific areas. “So a lot of the country is still safe.”
