Australian man confirmed dead in Los Angeles wildfires

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian who has reportedly died in the Los Angeles wildfires. British-born Australian Rory Sykes who lived with cerebral palsy allegedly died after becoming trapped in his cottage in Malibu. His mother confirmed the 32-year-old’s death via social media.
