Australians continue to travel in record numbers despite the cost-of-living crisis

As the world welcomes a new year, many Australians are already planning their next adventure. According to Stephen Howard, Group Director of Marketing at Overlow Hotels, Australians are still travelling in large numbers, with a month-on-month 16 per cent increase nearly 1.2 million travellers went on short-term trips overseas in the last month alone. "So still very strong. Exchange rates are obviously going to hamper that and also the cost of living as well," Mr Howard told Sky News Australia.
